Equipment

CAP carries a variety of home health equipment that are available FREE of charge, for as long as you need it. There is no limit to the number of items you may borrow at any given time and exchanges can be made as many times as needed. Equipment loans can be picked up by appointment or arrangements can be made for delivery to any address within the Greater Hamilton area.

Equipment available for loan includes, but are not limited to items such as:

• Bed Rails

CAP also provides instructional videos on how to properly use your equipment. Created by the Cancer Assistance Program in collaboration with local community occupational therapists, this series provides clear, practical guidance to support your mobility and independence. Indemnification and Release of Liability
The undersigned accepts that there is no express or implied warranty by CAP and its officers, directors, employees and agents (the “Indemnities”) as to the condition or working order of any Equipment provided, and that the undersigned is responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, selection, adjustment, and use of the Equipment. The undersigned releases and agrees to indemnify, defend, and save harmless the Indemnities from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, costs, expenses, penalties, losses and liabilities (whether under negligence, strict liability, contract or otherwise) which the Indemnities or any third party may suffer (including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees and other third party fees) as a result of or related to the undersigned’s and/or the Client’s participation in the Program or use of the Equipment. For in-person or online registrations, you will be asked to provide written consent. For registration that takes place over the phone, you will be asked to give your verbal consent.
